It's like seeing what's done to a dead face in a mortuary.

Ha! Yes, very uncanny

$500 is a bit cheap for all that anyway. Cheers, Neil.

Agreed. I know that influencers are collaborating with brands, but how much do they charge?

Fascinating and horrifying all at the same time. I am curiously tempted to download it though. You know, just for shits and giggles

The free trial is worth it just to see the state of the art. Curious how you get on.

I had a bit of a laugh. Turns out that “younger me” looks nothing like I did but older me? Maybe. It was fun to send pictures to my mum ;)

Yes, the younger version always feels a bit like superimposed face. The older one has a logic to it. Need to get a beard for "cool older".

Interesting. But also thoroughly depressing.

I know but good to define the terms of the battle.

Absolutely. I think it was the “Looksmaxing” part that really got me.

Love the intro especially, and am impressed you didn't take the opportunity to lambaste their product. Just a straight review, unadulterated by sponsorship. Kudos to you.

Thanks Bill. I should republish it as an epilogue but is only currently viewable in the email. I really didn’t want to writean advertorial.

The shock of hearing your own voice and seeing a real and unflattering image !!!!

Not keen on manipulation… live with what you’ve got 🤷🏼

We have to eat but I feel George, or Eric as he is less prosaically known, would have approved. So interesting re FaceApp!!

It’s true that there are white lies with friends and at work, but we must draw the line somewhere.
